You may have heard the announcement that “Rizz" is the 2023 Oxford Dictionary’s word of the year. Short for "charisma," the word describes one’s style, charm or attractiveness. Created by Gen Zers, it can also be used as a verb, such as to “rizz up” a person, which means to attract, seduce or chat them
up.
One of the reasons “Rizz” was chosen is because it’s just fun to say. “When it comes off your tongue, there’s a little bit of joy that comes with it,” says Casper Grathwohl, president of Oxford Languages.
While recognizing we are not as hip as Gen Z, Capstone coined a word of our own that’s also fun to say: “Wealthness.” This term, a combination of wellness and wealth, signifies a holistic approach to personal finance, encompassing both traditional financial aspects and the broader context of individual well-being. The idea of “Wealthness” emphasizes the importance of budgeting, saving, investing wisely, and paying attention to mental and
emotional wellness related to financial decisions.
There is a growing awareness of the interconnectedness between financial health and overall well-being. Most of our client’s seek this kind of holistic approach to financial planning, and we love listening, learning and partnering with you to create a customized roadmap for
success.
