Your Annual Report for 2017 has been posted to the Document section of the Blueleaf web site. The Document section is on the left side of the screen once you log-in. Once in that section, click on the Reports folder to find the report for the period ending 12/31/2017.

Investment Message:
We are pleased to provide you with your Annual Account Report from Blueleaf. Obviously, 2017 was a pleasant year to be an investor as equity markets around the globe rallied throughout the year. They managed to do this with a record lack of volatility, making the journey enjoyable from start to finish. Fixed income had a positive return for the year, but those returns
were muted. The broad diversification we build in your portfolio was a fairly neutral factor for you last year. The diversification is there to help withstand storms in the market and we had calm sailing all year.
Looking to 2018, there still seem to be no economic storms brewing. However, we would advise to prepare for some waves (a return to normal volatility). We don’t know what the catalyst will be, but…the mid-term elections might stir the waters and test investor resolve. The other
large longer-term issue are the market’s high valuations. They will not persist forever and will have to be reckoned with at some time in the future. That time may not be on the horizon currently.
